Meet our new friends.
Honorary Loungs Aileen, Alex, Esther and Paul (also on arrangement duties) made the journey down to Catalyst Studios in St.Helens last night and exceeding all our expectations they added a much needed touch of class to the album recording.
The quartet added strings to 3 tracks (none of which were Electric Lights. The headline was just too good to pass on) and may return in the coming weeks to add more as we get our heads down and continue with the considerable task of mixing the blighter (3 songs down, 10 to go)
Other Loungs news includes us getting off our arses returning to the live trail with an Akoustik Anarkhy double header this weekend playing with friends old and new.
First up is Friday at the Fat Cat Cafe Bar in Stoke with the mighty Autokat and Elevator Band.
The following day we will return to the mighty Rampant Lion in Manchester with new Akoustik Anarkhy signings its a buffalo, The Answering Machine, My Side Of The Mountain and Lach plus the usual aA deejay shenanigans.
