IT'S ON IT!!!

So after touring our debut album 'We Are The Champ' across the world and beyond The Loungs have finally knuckled down and begun to write a whole host of new ditties to be included (maybe oui, maybe non) on our second album.

After a slow start the tunes have begun to come thick and fast and we are all getting very excited. In a classic case of 'second album syndrome' the harder bits are much harder and the softer bits are like proverbial babies bottoms.

You may have already heard possible contenders such as ANNIE HALL, GOOD MORNING, HONESTY BOX, I NEVER KNEW and GRETYL but so far you won't have heard such aural delights as COMET GIRL, COCONUTS and JUPITER AND MARS nor have you heard others about which we are still arguing over titles (should MIND YER HEAD just be called HEAD or something entirely different? What the devil are we going to call the one that so far seems to be a horrific amalgamation of The Cure, Dexys Midnight Runners and Bob Marley?) nor will you have heard the ones that are merely at this point a ridiculous noise that we are hell bent on forming a song around.

ANYWAYS....you can hear an extreeeemely early snatch of some of the songs in an extreeeemely rough and early stage during rehearsals on our Myspace player right now. Keep on your toes skids, it's like Jive Bunny for the new Millenium.
